Written and produced to commemorate the canonization of St. Jeanne Jugan, foundress of the Little Sisters of the Poor, this show presents the story of her amazing life and her heroic struggles. In portraying Jeanne's life we also tell the "story behind the story", the forces of good and evil, as Our Lord and the Tempter battle behind the scenes for the issues involved and for the souls that need to be helped and saved. The play also delves into life issues that are currently in contention - euthanasia, dying, and dignity - and shows how these issues are fully transformed by the love of God and by our love for the poorest among us.
